To me, she is the perfect example of what it means to be a woman - all crazy, beautiful, uniquely sexy, strong, emotional, fragile, terrifying.
On the train to Philadelphia yesterday, I was listening to Post while reading a feminist-leaning close reading of massmedia texts post-WW2 for school…plus, I have my period. These factors just kind of came together in a delicate harmony of emotion, and I felt oddly at ease in my womanhood.
